Kilimanjaro National Park is a Tanzanian national park which Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the best known mountains in the world. Kilimanjaro National Park takes in the area above 753 km2 on the mountain. Kilimanjaro National Park, established in 1973.Kilimanjaro National Park is protected under national legislation as a National Park and a management plan is in this place. Kilimanjaro, by any name, is a metaphor for the compelling beauty of East Africa. This massive volcano stands in splendid isolation above the surrounding plains, with its snowy peak looming over the savannah. The park has six rights of way through the Kilimanjaro Forest Reserve. The most important exciting activity would have to be mountain climbing here. Kilimanjaro is in fact a young mountain; roughly one million years ago there was probably a large river where it now stands.
