Nairobi National Park
Nairobi National Park is unique by being the only protected area in the world with a variety of animals and birds close to a capital city. Nairobi National Park is a national park in Kenya. It was established in 1946.The Park has a rich/diverse birdlife with 400 species recorded. However all species are not always present and some are seasonal. The park is located at 7 KM from Nairobi city centre. Major wildlife attractions are the Black rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, buffaloes, Giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, elands and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. In a perfect world that elephant life would be filled with fun and joy through the companionship of friends and a close-knit and loving family, whose love is pure and unconditional all the days of its life. Nairobi is perhaps the only major city in the world that has a natural game protection park in its outskirts. It was fully upgraded to Nairobi National Park by the colonial government in 1946 given its rich natural habitats. The western side has a highland dry forest and a permanent river with a riverine forest. In 1933, a Royal Commission accepted the project and the "Nairobi Commonage" were formed. From 1933 to 1939, Bowie held public meeting to aware the population living in the area. The exact opposite is the case, and the area is essentially the same as when I first took charge of it as a corner of the great Southern Game Reserve in January 1924.
