Ngorongoro Conservation Area
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a comprehensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. It was established in 1959.These Park is surrounded by an area 8,288 km2.The Ngorongoro Conservation Area expands across rich, diverse wildland, hosting a vast array of wildlife and beautiful, natural tourist destinations. The Ngorongoro Crater is the best place in Tanzania to see the 'Big Five' and is an absolutely beautiful place to be on safari. Beyond the crater rim, Maasai pastoralists herd their cattle across the plains, seemingly oblivious to the herds of wild animals sharing this vast landscape, the ‘endless plains' of Serengeti.
