Tsavo West National Park
Tsavo West National Park The park is located on south eastern Kenya, 240 KM from Nairobi along the western side of Mombasa-Nairobi highway. The park surrounded an area of 9,065 KM2. At nearly 22,000 KM², Tsavo is the largest national park in Kenya and one of the largest in the world. Indeed, its size has led to the park being split into two sections - Tsavo West and Tsavo East - for easier administration. Tsavo East, one of the last great wilderness landscapes on Earth, offers a vast arena of parched scrub and heat-shimmering bush, which is washed by the azure waters of the Galana River, guarded by the Yatta Plateau and patrolled by some of the largest elephant herds in the world. In a perfect world that elephant life would be filled with fun and joy through the companionship of friends and a close-knit and loving family, whose love is pure and unconditional all the days of its life. There is a place in Kenya where nature and wildlife can be explored like you’ve never explored one before. Although Tsavo West and Tsavo East were once a single mega-park, they were separated decades ago, along a line coinciding with the Mombasa highway – and they feel like quite distinct national parks with different eco-systems.
