Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park covers Mount Meru, a main volcano with an elevation of 4566 M, in the Arusha Region of north eastern Tanzania.Arusha National Park, although one of Tanzania's smallest parks is one of its most beautiful and most topographically varied.Arusha National Parks has an excellent tailor made Safaris in Arusha, Tanzania. The forests contain a wealth of birds and other animals, like the beautiful bushbuck easily glimpsed in the grades between the ancient cedar trees, or the black and white colobus monkeys climbing along their branches. Although the town is not usually a destination in itself, it is the most popular and convenient springboard from which to explore the legendary northern game-viewing circuit. The park measures approximately 552 KM2, combining within its boundaries the vast variety of many other parks in northern Tanzania: crater, lakes, savannah, plains and Africa’s.
How to reach Arusha National Park:
Reach By Road: An easy 45 minute drive away from Arusha Town. Since Arusha is the starting point of any safari in northern Tanzania, it is easy to include a visit to this little park. Approximately 60 KM from Kilimanjaro International Airport. Despite this, the vast majority of visitors bypass the park in favour of getting out on the road west towards the better known reserves.
